7th Sunday of Year B - 19 February 2012
Ash Wednesday Ash Wednesday is a day of Fasting and Abstinence. Masses will be at 7.30qm in the Cghurch at at 6.00pm in the evening. During Lent I urge you to think of attending weekday Mass if you can on a regular basis. Also during Lent: 1. There will be |Stations of the Cross every Wednesday at 18.30hrs. Exposition of tghe Blessed Sacrament every Friday from 7.00pm until 8.00pm. 2. Lenten Talks will be given by different speakers every Monday night at 19.30 in tyhe Red Cross Centre. Starting with our very own Marian Pallister who is going to talk to us about her role with SCIAF and Justice and Peace. I urge you to support these talks, as it is a great way for us to come together as a parish and share our Faith together. 3. There has been a tradition of houyse Masses during Lent and I would like to keep this tradition up if possible. If you would like a Mass in your house on a weekeday in Lent, please let me know. 4. Almsgiving is a huge partof what it is to be Christians and so with this in mind this lent, I ask you to give generously to SCIAF whether it is through the Wee Bioxes or in many of the other ways. If you are thinking of giving something up for Lent please think of donating the money to SCIAF. Special Collection Last week for Catholic Education - amounted to £220.68. Thank You
Gaelic CD There are newly released CDs of Gaelic Hymns for sale at the back of the Church priced £12 each.

5th Sunday of Year B - 5 February 2012 Feasts of the week are now placed in the Calendar.
Sacramental Preparation There will be Sacramental Preparation for children and their parents starting on Thursday 9 February at 1730 in St Margaret's Church.
Special Collection There will be a second collection uplifted after Holy Communion at all masses next week for Catholic Education.
