This week

I am going to visit my parents after Mass today, and I will return Wednesday afternoon.  I have CAB practice on Thursday as well, so there will be Communion Services from Monday to Thursday.

Many thanks to those who tackled the dust on Friday. You did a great job and the church was dust-free for the World Day of Prayer service. Thanks also to the people who helped out and made our visitors welcome.

Sorry about the lack of Stations of the Cross so far. I will do my best to be there on Friday, provided there are no more unforeseen complications like last week.

We will have a Sacramental Preparation class next Thursday, 18th March, at 5:30pm, for both children and parents. There will be no class this week. Please note that the First Communions will be on Sunday 6th June. I need to fix the date so that people can get cheaper air fares.

Is there anyone else who would like to join the rota for helping with the children’s liturgy on Sundays? As you can see, there are a lot of children every week, which is great to see, and sometimes it can be a struggle getting people to help them. Sometimes we need to split the children into an older and a younger age group, so this stretches our resources further.

Next Sunday is SCIAF Sunday. There will be a collection for SCIAF at Mass, and I would like to ask the Gift aiders to take the blue envelopes that I will be proffering as you leave Mass today.

We will be having a coffee morning on Saturday for parish funds (painting etc…)  so could I ask people kindly to do a bit of baking, and finding raffle prizes etc.
