Our Twelve Windows

From dawn to dusk, in the darkest hour as well as in the brightest;
the House of God is the constant still-point in an ever-changing world of rush and change.
Standing in St Margaret's, you are surrounded by twelve beautiful stained glass windows depicting saints from the past. With the clock-style aerial view of the church below, you can view all twelve.

The Holy Family

Joseph, young Jesus and Mary, pictured in a circular window high above the main doors of the church. The young Christ figure is complete with cruciform halo, while Our Lady and St Joseph have simpler haloes.

The image of the Holy family is a great model of Christian life, represented also in the popular prayer:

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, assist me in my last agony.
Jesus May and Joseph, may I breath out my soul in peace with you!
Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us!
Jesus, Mary, Joseph!
Mary, Mother of all Christians, pray for us.
