Cats Corner!

Matters of faith and the heart aren't just for study and reflection; they should also be fun. With that in mind, we present a couple of online jigsaws! While these are designed for our young parishioners (our "Church Cats"), no-one should be too old for a few minutes of play.

Stained glass windows are made from shaped metal frames, melted to hold pieces of coloured glass together. For fine details the glass is then painted on, with the daylight through the glass bringing the finished picture to life.

To encourage you to look closer at the workmanship involved, here's a window split into 56 pieces - ready for you to rebuild by clicking on any two pieces to swap them around.

The photograph features part of the stained glass window behind the altar. You can see and read about all the windows at St Margaret's in Our Twelve Windows.

Alternatively, try our second jigsaw where you can [ Restore an Old Photo ]
